A 23-year-old man has died and three others were injured in a collision near Ardrossan on Saturday morning.

Police have named a 23-year-old man who died in a car crash near Ardrossan on Saturday morning.

A passenger in the Citroen died at the scene. The driver, also 23, suffered minor injuries.Darren Byres, from Stevenston, who was a passenger in the Citroen, died at the scene. The 34-year-old driver suffered minor injuries.
