Two explosions in two northeastern Nigerian states on Monday killed at least 26 people and wounded 79, rescue and health officials said. A car bomb at a bus station in Gombe killed at least 20 people and wounded 60, a Red Cross official, Abubakar Yakubu, said. In Bauchi, west of Gombe, an explosion at a market killed at least six people and wounded 19, said the state commissioner of health, Dr. Sani Malami. |
