How can a truce be achieved in Gaza?
The Muslims will have to recognise that Israel has a right to exist. Israel will have to recognise that Palestine also has a right to exist with land. When they both agree to borders then the fighting will stop. To have a temporary cease fire will only allow the Hamas to rebuild its fighting force and extend the war.

Good Gord saved the banks ("world"). Perhaps he can stip to his underpants and move in to save the day.
He'd better watch out, though. Hamas do it from behind the skirts of baby girls. No uniform or rules of war. Simply lob in weapons where you can not be seen. He'd better not be mistaken for an enemy or other "justified" target.

Isreal rejects truce call.-BBC.
Expected.
Like poles reject each other. Theory of magnatism.
A born terrorist rejects a known one.
What then Israel wants? Who is then its partner to talk peace? Does Israel not willing to live in peace? Only wars and killings? And you expect all to accept its right to defend itself? How? Why, when it is an illegal occupier of Palestine?
Israel is an alien to human race. It deserves a place only in Mars or still farther away if possible, Jupiter.

People are very quick to condemn Muslims with words like "terrorists" and other such labels.
Yet, it was the Jews who instigated this horrible onslaught against the Muslims - not the other way round.
Says a lot about the Jews doesn't it?
Are the Israeli strikes on Gaza justified?
No, Israel follows the rules of oppression and murder as was inflicted on the Jews of Europe. Gaza is as much a concentration camp as anywhere in Europe built by Hitler. Why do Israelis persist in such acts as yesterday? How many Israelis have been killed by rockets? How many Palestinians have been killed by Israeli weapons? Is a homemade rocket any kind of a match against Israeli bombs? Is there any point in not believing that Israel will continue bombing until every Arab is dead?

"My guess is that, with this action, the region and the world will be very much improved. Three cheers for the Israelis.
Patrick Burger, Dayton, Ohio"
Excuse me? Since when does bombing an already volatile area - killing innocent civilians in the process - improve a situation? How will this help in any shape of form?
In addition, to use the words "three cheers" over the madness in this region is just sick.
Are the Israeli strikes on Gaza justified?
Israel is not dealing here with the Palestinian people or any form of organized government, it is dealing with a terrorist organization that has taken power in the midst of a terrible humanitarian calamity. Would the UK negotiate with terrorists? would the US? Israel has full rights to defend its sovereignty and the safety of its people. Collateral damage is unfortunate but is part of every war, including this one against the terrorist organization Hamas.

Hamas doesn't know the meaning of the word 'truce' – it exists to attack Israel. This conflict will only end when Hamas is destroyed.
