dave morraine- I'd check the law... its probably legal for women to go topless in towns. Many laws like this only apply to men. For instance women can "relieve" themselves in public, but men can't.

Two held in terror raids released: Your views

Should Ian Blair resign. Yes.
Why ? Because he is out of touch. Last years comments made after 7/7 about Islam and terrorist not going together show how out of touch and out of his depth he is
What we need is someone who will take a hard stance against the terror threat this country faces - not someone who will soft pedal or be politically correct

Close Quatanamo Bay down or the Islamic world will use yet another thing to justify closing you, the United States of America, DOWN.

The bombings could have been prevented if we kept closer tabs on all religious groups - not just Muslims but Christians, Jews, Sikhs and all the rest.

Every religion has an expressed wish to convert non-believers to their cause. And every relgiion has at some time resorted to violence to achieve those ends. Therefore, they should all be treated as potential terrorists.

We could have prevented it 40 years ago by taking heed of what Enoch Powell said. The "rivers of blood" he predicted have arrived.

Richie H, Secret

I know illegals who do abide by most of the rules. I know most don't and a lot locals nare just just as bad living of the state. I do live in the real world. I wonder how many asylum seekers you know? Not many meethinks. You are right about the poll though. I also like the way some right wingers use personal insults as a way of arguing. Very clever.

leftwing lefty, United Kingdom- you're kidding! Was it the council that decided to pay that (rather than go to court) or a court itself? I'm quite familiar with the compensation people get for medical negligence (my mum is a part time legal secretary) and £10,000 is about average for a mis-diagnosis of cancer!
