Could we please have a government that looks after its own people, first. We're ripped off at every opportunity. Even the phone number for job seeking is an 0845 number, as well as Citizens Advice, and the police. I had a freind who was mugged in Bristol and didn't have enough credit on her phone to call the police-its disgraceful!! . Stop giving away our money to immigrants & spongers-what about the ones that have paid into the system, when will they get help

Does Harriet think it would just be easier to castrate and imprison all men (though only the white ones) immediately, rather than achieve it over time through stealthy legislation?

Should pension overpayments be paid back?

Chris Gavin speaks of the baby boomer elderly, asking why being old should be an excuse not to have a pension cut.

My dad's 94, far older than the baby boomers. I'm older than them! He lives alone, with family support, a widower since 1980, relying on work and state pensions, no burden on the council or NHS.

He worked from 1929 to 1979, survived the 1930s depression and 6 years in the wartime army. He doesn't need Chris Gavin to tell him life is hard, nor should his pension be cut!

The real cuckoos in the British nest are our local councils.

In the Republic of Ireland your local council tax is Zero for people.
Nil. Nada. Zip.

Doesn't seem to have done them any harm either.
