LOL - funniest thing I've seen all day. I'll think you'll find three overwhelming emotions from the rest of the country towards London: apathy, despair, and pity. As a Londoner, I drive a few times a month and I have never noticed any significant congestion, except on public transport. Like climate change, congestion is just a smokescreen for more taxation, to fund things we DID NOT VOTE FOR like the Iraq War and compensation for violent criminals under the immoral Human Rights Act. Civil disobediance is the only way to get through to this bunch of robber barons. Use your cars to block the roads into central London and see Red Ken go down in flames.

To be fair, many people in London aren’t Londoners. They are imported provincials.
The genuine Londoners are in Greater London. The imports are in Central London, and they are the snotty ones.

Using this logic you speak of, I had a look at the figures for immigration and emmigration over the last ten years.
In 2003, 512,000 came to the uk and stayed for at least a year, according to the Office of National Statistics.
However, 361,600 left the uk.

My father is an immigrant. There is nothing wrong with some immigration. Thanks to people like my father the NHS actually runs and doesn't collapse. If you care to check your facts Great Britain has become the dumping ground of Europe, if they were any good they would stay in France or Germany or Belgium or Luxembourg or Holland or any other country in Europe! But they DONT - they continue to pour into Britain...
From Monday thousands of new households in parts of west London will be brought into the zone, paying a discounted charging rate.
