Oh without a doubt men do a lot more work than women.
Men are not only stronger physically but because of their genetic makeup able to concentrate specifically on devotional tasks especially in scientific areas of discovery and such.
Women are much better domestic creatures and can multitask and keep their mind on more than one issue at once, this is no accident and they keep the house tidy a lot better than men as well.

I work hard, I'm a mum and work full time, but i think my new husband works alot harder as he's a firefighter oncall all the time and we have a baby of our own on the way. He seeks out overtime oppertunities whereas I just want to get home after a days' work.
but that's just one family, it is different for everyone. where i live there are ALOT of lazy men and women who don't bother working beyond finding their next baseball cap. but there are other men and women who work all hours.

The study of thousands of time diaries across 25 countries revealed that women do more housework on average but men spend longer at the workplace.
In Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands men actually do more work than women. But women in poorer nations work longer hours overall.
