The only problem is cost. We will need to send troops out there to protect the pipe because the locals will get a complex about our rubbish occupying their land and in worse case scenario Al Queda could crawl up the pipe and invade the whole of Europe.

One is the report of many scientists based on peer reviewed science with a body of evidence and theoretical and experimental framework that explains the evidence, drawing a conclusion that it has a high degree of confidence in and with the number of scientific sceptics is getting smaller rather than growing.

I used to live in Newham, I am not surprised they are bottom of the list in terms of recycling. The place is a dump and people do not have enough respect for their surrounding.
Its rubbish (pardon the pun) that it is because so many people cannot speak English, Newham translate absolutely everything.
Truth is, they just don't care and compared to the places they have come from its a paradise.

The two councils with the worst recycling rates in England are both in the East End of London.
Tower Hamlets and Newham recycled just 8.9% and 10.1% respectively during 2005-6, but both are making efforts to boost these figures.
The councils claim that their plans are often hampered by high-rise blocks and residents who don't speak English.
Friends of the Earth say that the government should help inner-city councils to raise standards.
