Shoreham plane crash: families and friends wait for news about the missing

Version 0 of 1. Anxious families and friends were waiting on Sunday night for news of their loved ones missing since the Shoreham airshow crash which has so far claimed 11 lives. Mark Trussler has been missing since the crash on Saturday, said his fiancee, Giovanna Chirico, in an appeal on Facebook: “Mark Trussler missing was riding an all black motorbike … if anyone has any details please contact Giovanna Chirico … he was at Shoreham airport today … hoping he just doesn’t have mobile signal, love u babe.” Car firm Chariots Chauffeurs said it believed that one of its drivers, who was at the wheel of a Daimler wedding car on its way to pick up a bridefor her wedding, had been killed.Jay Sherwin, the company’s owner, said: “Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of our driver who was caught up in the tragic air crash on Saturday afternoon in Shoreham, West Sussex. We ask the media to respect the privacy of his family. We will be making no further comments at this sad time.” |
