Dumped dog dropped over a garden wall covered in blood
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-34071996 Version 0 of 1. A dog was dumped over a garden wall "covered in blood" by a woman who disguised her face with a scarf, the RSPCA said. The crossbreed terrier, called Molly, was suffering from a "severe infection" and on the "verge of death". A resident in Days Court, Wimborne, Dorset, spotted a woman dropping the dog in her garden before running off and driving away in a van. The four year-old is "fighting for her life" in the care of local vets. The RSPCA said Molly had an emergency operation for a severely infected womb. RSPCA inspector Graham Hammond said: "When I arrived I saw this sad-looking, very pretty terrier who was in quite a bad way. She was weak and covered in blood and had to be taken to the vets immediately. "This is just a really sad situation because if she would have only had treatment for the infection last week, or if she had just been spayed like we always encourage people to do, then she would not be in this critical condition." The RSPCA is appealing for information on the identity of the woman. |
