Four women were arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday. Louise Gardner, of Mallow Road, Kensington, appeared at Liverpool City Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Merseyside Police said Louise Gardner, of Anfield, will appear at Liverpool City Magistrates' Court. The three other women have been bailed. She spoke only to confirm her details and was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 2 April.
Three other women, aged 19, 25 and 49, arrested in the inquiry have been bailed pending further inquiries.
