Naomi Campbell was sentenced to do community work in New York last year after being convicted of assault.
She was made to mop floors and clean toilets for five days, as a punishment for throwing a mobile phone at her maid.
Past allegations
There have been several other allegations of assault against Ms Campbell over the years, most of them involving her staff.
In 2000 she pleaded guilty to attacking her personal assistant, Georgina Galanis, with a phone. She agreed to attend anger management classes.
The same year another personal assistant, Vanessa Frisbee, also claimed she had been attacked. Naomi Campbell denied it.
In 2003 another personal assistant, Simone Craig, sued Ms Campbell, accusing her of holding her hostage and throwing a phone at her. This was also denied.
In 2004 police in New York received a complaint from her housekeeper, Millicent Burton, that she had been punched and scratched during an argument. No further action was taken.
Then in 2006, in London, she was arrested after being accused of attacking a drugs counsellor. Once again, no further action was taken.
