Six further people are due in Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Friday charged in connection with the death of the schoolboy. Three people also appeared in Liverpool Magistrates' Court charged with assisting an offender.
Gary Kayes, 25, of Mallard Close, West Derby, Melvyn Coy, 24, of Abbeyfield Drive, West Derby and James Yates, 20, of Dodman Road, Croxteth, are accused of assisting an offender. Gary Kayes, 25, of Mallard Close, West Derby, Melvyn Coy, 24, of Abbeyfield Drive, West Derby, and a 16-year-old boy were all remanded in custody to appear on 23 May.
A 17-year-old boy and two boys aged 16, who cannot be named but are from Croxteth, face the same charge. All three spoke only to confirm their names, addresses and ages.
One of the 16-year-olds is also charged with being in possession of a revolver, ammunition and a replica 8mm pistol. A further three people are due to appear before the court later on Friday.
James Yates, 20, of Dodman Road, Croxteth, and two boys, aged 16 and 17, are also accused of assisting an offender.
