At Manchester Crown Court, Judge Irwin said: "You have been convicted of a despicable and cruel crime." Manchester Crown Court judge Mr Justice Irwin said: "You have been convicted of a despicable and cruel crime."
He added: "You were trusted to look after her by her parents and your attack on her was an attack beyond any normal comprehension.
"You are weak and wicked and you took out your weakness and wickedness on Mollie."

Stoker must serve a minimum of 17 years in prison before he is eligible for parole.
He had denied murder. Mollie's parents, Carl Norman and Rachel Webb, had left the baby child to stay with Stoker and his wife Shelley at Stoker's home in on 11 June 2005.
Stoker admitted causing his niece distress on a number of occasions that evening, but the following morning, after his wife had left for work, he carried out the attack which killed her.
The court heard he covered Mollie's body with a pillow and punched her several times through it. He then picked her up by the ankles and banged her on the head.
'Betrayed trust'
The truck driver and former bouncer has a previous conviction for attacking a baby in 1988, who survived with no long-term injuries.
Stoker told police the "beast" inside him made him want to squeeze Mollie to "make her feel a little bit of pain".
Stoker told a police officer that inside him was a "beast that shows his ugly head every now and then".
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Wessell, of Salford CID, said the case had been "extremely traumatic" for everyone involved.
In a statement, Mollie's parents said: "Words can hardly describe our feelings about Stoker. He is evil. We trusted him.
"If we had any concerns regarding him, we would never have left Mollie in his care.
"He betrayed this trust in the most wicked manner and inflicted pain and torture on our beautiful baby."
