Two bodies have been found in a Cornwall flat, sparking a police investigation. The bodies of two men have been found in a Cornwall property, sparking a police investigation.
The flat in Tregonissey Road, St Austell, was cordoned off after the discovery on Wednesday night. Devon and Cornwall Police described the deaths as "unexplained".
Devon and Cornwall Police said it is treating the deaths as "unexplained". Officers discovered the bodies of a 31-year-old-man from St Austell and another man, thought to be in his late 20s, on Wednesday afternoon.
The forced added: "The bodies of two people have been located. At this time, police are conducting thorough inquiries and examination of the scene." The property, off Tregonissey Road, St Austell, is cordoned off and a police guard remains in place.
Detective Inspector Marie Ward said: "This investigation is at a very early stage and inquiries continue to establish the circumstances around the deaths."
