A vigil is due to take place on Monday evening to honour the victims of the London Bridge terror attack.A vigil is due to take place on Monday evening to honour the victims of the London Bridge terror attack.
Sadiq Khan announced the event, which will begin at 6pm at Potters Fields Park, next to City Hall, with an official statement saying: “The Mayor invites all Londoners – and everyone visiting our city – to come together in solidarity to remember those who have lost their lives in Saturday’s attack, to express sympathy with their families and loved ones and to show the world that we stand united in the face of those who seek to harm us and our way of life.”Sadiq Khan announced the event, which will begin at 6pm at Potters Fields Park, next to City Hall, with an official statement saying: “The Mayor invites all Londoners – and everyone visiting our city – to come together in solidarity to remember those who have lost their lives in Saturday’s attack, to express sympathy with their families and loved ones and to show the world that we stand united in the face of those who seek to harm us and our way of life.”
Attendees will be asked to observe a a minute’s silence at 6.20pm.

Some people have already begun laying flowers in the area closest to the attacks.
