Donald Trump says his former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen should “serve a full and complete sentence” in prison.
Cohen’s attorneys have asked for no prison time after he pleaded guilty to multiple federal crimes connected to his work for Trump.
“You mean he can do all of the TERRIBLE, unrelated to Trump, things having to do with fraud, big loans, Taxis, etc., and not serve a long prison term?” Trump said on Twitter Monday. “He makes up stories to get a GREAT & ALREADY reduced deal for himself, and get.........his wife and father-in-law (who has the money?) off Scott Free. He lied for this outcome and should, in my opinion, serve a full and complete sentence.”

Lawyers for Donald Trump want porn actress Stormy Daniels to pay them $340,000 in legal bills they claim they earned successfully defending Trump against her frivolous defamation claim, the Associated Press reports.
More from AP:
The attorneys are due in a Los Angeles federal courtroom Monday to make their case that they rang up big bills because of gamesmanship and aggressive tactics by attorney Michael Avenatti, who represents Daniels...
Trump’s team of lawyers have accounted for more than 500 hours of work — at rates as high as $840 an hour.
Avenatti, who has positioned himself as a Trump foe and is considering a run for president in 2020, said the fees are “staggering and grossly inflated” and should not exceed $25,000.
Trump’s lead attorney said the fees and unspecified monetary sanctions were earned because of the extraordinary nature of the case.
“This action is virtually unprecedented in American legal history,” attorney Charles Harder wrote. Daniels “not only brought a meritless claim for defamation against the sitting president of the United States, but she also has engaged, along with her attorney, in massive national publicity.”
Republican U.S. Sen. John Kennedy announced Monday he won’t run against the state’s Democratic governor John Bel Edwards in 2019, ending months of speculation about the race.
Kennedy said he believes he can better serve Louisiana from his current post in the Senate, according to the Associated Press.
The governor released a statement slamming Kennedy in response, saying his exploration of a run was “about focusing the spotlight on himself.”
