A six-year-old boy who went missing at a service station on the M1 motorway has been found safe and well. More than 1,000 people joined police to search through the night for a six-year-old boy who vanished from a motorway service station.
A police search for Aadil Umair Rahim at Newport Pagnell services, near Milton Keynes, went on for more than nine hours. Aadil Umair Rahim was found safe at about 04:15 - nine hours after he went missing at Newport Pagnell services on the M1 near Milton Keynes.
A Thames Valley Police helicopter was deployed during the search, which began at about 19:15 GMT on Friday. His relieved father said he was "thankful to everyone" who worked "tirelessly" to find his son.

Officers found Aadil safe and well at about 04:15 and reunited him with his family. A police helicopter was deployed to find the boy on Friday night, aided by officers on the ground, fire service staff and members of the public.
