| The Maryland Natural Resources Police is the lead agency in the search. The Coast Guard said in a statement they are searching the area near Herring Bay. They are looking for a 41-year-old woman and her 8-year-old son. According to the Coast Guard, the caller said the two were “seen struggling to return to shore in a canoe” and then were not seen again. | |
