Nicky Davison, 18, of Annfield Plain, was arrested with his father Ian, 41, on 2 June by police investigating suspected white supremacists. The teenager faces charges relating to the collection, making, or possession of information useful to the committing or preparing of a terrorist act. He is due before Westminster magistrates later, Durham Police said. After being interviewed at a police station in Durham he was transferred to the North East Counter Terrorism Unit in West Yorkshire. His father, from Myrtle Grove in Burnopfield, who was also arrested last week, remains in police custody in West Yorkshire. Durham Police said they planned to ask for further time to question him. |
