Expecting
The PHA said the other nine cases in Northern Ireland have either recovered or are recovering well.
Dr Carolyn Harper, Director of Public Health, said they had been expecting further cases of swine flu.
"People should not be alarmed but should continue to be alert. Systems are in place to respond to more cases over the next few weeks," she said.
"To slow the spread of flu here, it's important that people who develop flu symptoms within a week of returning from flu-affected countries, stay at home and contact their GP."
Dr Harper the best way for people to protect themselves and their families was to cover their nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing and washing their hands afterwards.
