Firefighters have managed to halt the main front of a gorse fire which forced the evacuation of a village on Jersey. | |
Forty firefighters fought the fire at St Ouen as it moved along the edge of Val De La Mar reservoir toward the parish of St Peters. | |
A number of outbuildings and a garage were damaged and more than 12 properties evacuated. | |
