Firefighters had to use a high reach appliance to rescue the group stuck on the "drop-zone" attraction in the grounds of Kilncraigs in Alloa. The ride was part of the town's Christmas lights switch-on. Ambulance crews were called but no-one suffered physical injury in the incident which happened just before 1700 GMT on Saturday. Central Scotland Fire and Rescue service sent two fire engines from Alloa station and the high reach appliance from Falkirk Station. Firefighters used a combination of the high reach appliance and ladders to safely take down the youngsters who were all given a precautionary check up. |
