Crowds began gathering early on Friday morning in Penzance to see the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh before they make their journey to Scilly. The Queen and Prince Philip arrived in Penzance soon after 1000 BST on the first leg of their trip to the Isles of Scilly.
The couple arrived in the town on the royal train where a crowd of more than 1,000 people gathered to greet them.
