Terrorism-charge men due in court Four remanded over terror charges

Six men charged under the Terrorism Act with fund-raising offences are due to appear before magistrates in London. Four men have been remanded in custody accused of inciting terrorism abroad and fundraising for terrorism.
Abu Izzadeen, 32, Shal Jalal Hussain, 24, Omar Zaheer, 27, Simon Keeler, 35, Ibrahim Abdullah Hassan, 21 and Rajib Khan, 28, were arrested on Tuesday. Abu Izzadeen, 32, Ibrahaim Abdullah Hassan, 22, Simon Keeler, 35, and Rajib Khan, 28, appeared at City of Westminster magistrates' court.
Four of the men - Mr Izzadeen, also known as Omar Brooks, Mr Keeler, Mr Hassan and Mr Khan - are also charged with inciting terrorism overseas. Shal Jalal Hussein, 24, and Omar Zaheer, 27, were remanded on bail accused of fundraising for terrorism.
The charges relate to speeches made at the London Central Mosque at Regent's Park in 2004.
Filmed heckling
Mr Hassan is also charged with possessing an article for the purposes of terrorism.
Mr Izzadeen, also known as Omar Brooks, became well known after being filmed heckling Home Secretary John Reid during a speech to Muslims last year.

Mr Hassan is facing an additional charge of possessing articles suspected to be connected with the commission, preparation or instigation of a terrorist act.

All will appear before City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday. All the men are due to appear again on 18 May at the Central Criminal Court.
