A man has appeared in court accused of the murder of a mother-of-two from Nottingham. | |
Carl Powell, 23, from Carlton, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court charged with the murder of Caroline Coyne. | |
Ms Coyne, 26, was found dead in Thorneywood Mount on 23 July. | |
Mr Powell spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday. | |
No application for bail was made. | |
At the court, Mr Powell denied a charge of sexual assault and another of common assault with intent to commit sexual assault on 24 August. These will be dealt with at a court hearing on 5 September. |
