Tissue firm Kimberly-Clark has admitted fault in the death of a factory worker who was partially decapitated. Tissue maker Kimberly-Clark has admitted safety breaches over the death of a worker at its plant in Cumbria.

Furness Magistrates' Court heard how the machine did not have a safety guard at the time of his death. The company pleaded guilty to failing to ensure the safety of staff at Barrow Magistrates' Court in a case brought by the Health and Safety Executive.
The firm admitted failing to ensure an employee's safety and will be sentenced on 25 November. The firm faces an unlimited fine when sentencing takes place on 25 November.
The court action was brought by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The court was told the machine did not have a safety guard at the time of Mr Massey's death. He suffered massive head injuries.
Mr Massey, of Holbeck Road, Barrow, a rugby player with Barrow Raiders, died towards the end of a 12-hour shift. 'Tragic event'
A spokesperson for Kimberly-Clark commented said: "Kimberly-Clark has fully co-operated with the investigation by the Health and Safety Executive and can confirm that it has pleaded guilty to a breach of Section 2(1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974). The Barrow Raiders rugby player, of Holbeck Road, Barrow, was coming to the end of a 12-hour shift when the incident happened.
"The death of Christopher Massey, a well-liked and respected colleague, was a tragic event and it is our committed view that one fatality is one too many, and that the safety of our employees is of paramount importance to us. After the hearing, a spokesman for the company said it had fully co-operated with the investigation by the Health and Safety Executive.
"As always our thoughts are with Chris's family" It said it had pleaded guilty to a breach of the Health and Safety at Work Act, and added: "The death of Christopher Massey, a well-liked and respected colleague, was a tragic event and it is our committed view that one fatality is one too many and that the safety of our employees is of paramount importance to us."
The firm will be sentenced at Lancaster Crown Court.
