A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a teenager in an alleged hit-and-run crash a year ago.

Harwinder Singh, 23, of Nuneaton, in Warwickshire, was arrested over the death of Neil Forrester following a nationwide appeal.

The 15-year-old, from Larbert in Stirlingshire, died at Stirling Royal Infirmary shortly after being struck by a vehicle in Stenhousemuir.

Mr Singh is due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court.

The case featured on the BBC Crimewatch programme earlier this month. Mr Singh was arrested in Hartlepool on Friday.
