Street attack victim in hospital Youth charged after street attack

A 30-year-old man has suffered serious head injuries in an early morning attack in Swansea. A youth has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after an attack on a 30-year-old man, who remains in a critical condition.
South Wales Police are appealing for information after the assault at about 0450 BST on Saturday at St Helens Road and Page Street, near the city centre. The 16-year-old is expected to appear at Swansea Magistrates court after the incident near Swansea's city centre.
The injured man is being treated at Morriston Hospital, Swansea. The injured man from the St Helens area of the city is being treated at Morriston Hospital, Swansea.
An inquiry room has been set up at Swansea Central Police Station, where any witnesses are asked to contact officers, or call 01792 456999. Two males aged 17 and 20 are still being questioned and two youths, 14 and 15, have been released on police bail.
The incident happened in Page Street at about 0450 BST on Saturday.
