A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a doctor who was found stabbed to death in the driveway of her home in Kent. A student has appeared in court charged with stabbing a doctor to death in her car on the driveway of her Kent home.
Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, a consultant paediatrician, was found fatally wounded in her car in Teynham Road, Dartford, on 14 August. David Quartey, 21, of Humber Road, Dartford, is accused of murdering Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, who worked at St Thomas's Hospital in London.
David Quartey, of Humber Road, Dartford, is due before magistrates in Maidstone later accused of her killing. The consultant paediatrician was found by her son outside her home in Teynham Road, Dartford, on 14 August.
Dr Anyetei, a divorcee from Ghana, worked at St Thomas's Hospital, London. Mr Quartey was remanded in custody until 12 October by magistrates in Sittingbourne on Saturday.
He is then due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court
The student was arrested by Kent Police on Wednesday and charged on Friday night with Dr Anyetei's murder.
Dr Anyetei, who was divorced, moved to England from Ghana in 1996, and had worked as a doctor for about 20 years.
