A spokesperson said: "The rain could cause some localised flooding from streams and small watercourses, and surface water will make driving conditions difficult. A crew has called to deal with large zinc sheets blown from the roof of a barn which have blocked a road at St Lawrence, near Tenby.
"Meanwhile along the coast from Anglesey to south west Wales, strong winds and large waves could lead to further localised flooding on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning." Some of the roofing sheets have landed in a tree.
In Pembrokeshire, the A487 through Newgale will remain closed for a few more days while work continues to clear the road after high winds and waves at the weekend left it covered in stones. Meanwhile, firefighters have been called to Penally near Tenby where more roofing has come down.
The seafront road at Amroth also remains closed while work continues. South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they were dealing with numerous reports of trees being blown down, particularly around the heads of the valleys area.
Police closed the A465 for safety reasons after vehicles collided with a fallen tree at Hirwaun, according to Traffic Wales.
Diversions for light vehicles have been set up via Llwydcoed village and for heavy goods vehicles via the A4059 and A470.
A tree has also come down in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan, while a chimney has collapsed on a house in Caerphilly.
Fire crews were also dealing with a water rescue in Blackwood, near Caerphilly.
They have also been called out to a number of road traffic collisions.
