"Bridlington relies on holidaymakers to bring revenue to the area and we do not want this theft to tarnish our otherwise wonderful reputation for being a family-friendly seaside town. Ms Roddis' brother Barry Neilson appealed for the offender to hand himself in.
"In Ms Roddis' memory, I need the public to help identify the cyclist shown in the CCTV, who I believe can help me with my inquiries." Mr Neilson said the theft had "ruined the last few days of her life."
"She was on a mobility scooter, she was elderly, an invalid," he said.
