'Close-knit families'
Sher Khan, the Labour councillor for Little Horton who lives nearby, said he thought the occupants of the house had moved in about a year ago.
"I can't recall anything like this, believe me people are shocked.
"I hope the woman recovers and she is well", he added.
Mr Khan who represents the area on Bradford council said it was a "nice place with close-knit families".
A neighbour of the injured woman said: "I'm shocked, I feel upset... I feel really disturbed.
"It is a quiet little street and this has come out of the blue."
