Teenager arrested over £11,000 Windsor courier fraud

The 17-year-old was arrested at the woman's address in Windsor in connection with courier fraud, Thames Valley Police said. Between 27 May and 2 June, the force said, the victim was contacted by someone posing as a Met Police worker. She was told she had received counterfeit money and persuaded to withdraw the cash. The suspect has been cautioned and released on police bail until 21 July. Thames Valley Police said officers or banks will never ask for people's PIN and will never collect cash or bank cards from people's homes. |
