Hundreds are expected to gather to see the Royal Princess at her christening in Norfolk.

Who?

Princess Charlotte is to make her second public appearance today as she and her family prepare for her christening in front of the Queen.

Where?

Large crowds are expected to gather to see the princess at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Sandringham, near the Cambridges’ Norfolk mansion.

Who will be there?

Guests will include the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Charlotte’s brother, Prince George who is due to turn two later this month.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton will be there, along with her brother and sister, James and Pippa.

The godparents of the little princess are yet to be announced, but are likely to be friends of William and Kate.

According to the Telegraph, William’s brother Prince Harry, who will not be at the service as he has recently left for three months in Africa, has missed out on a chance to be godparent.

Likely contenders include the couple’s friend Hugh van Cutsem and Laura Lopes, the daughter of the Duchess of Cornwall.

When?

Although the ceremony conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev Justin Welby, the public will be allowed into the grounds of the church to catch a glimpse of the nine week old.

Police have urged well wishers to make it to the paddock outside the church by 3pm with the ceremony due to start at 4:30pm.
