Becky was a former pupil at Bristol Brunel Academy after leaving Summerhill Junior School, now known Summerhill Academy. Staff at Summerhill Academy, where Becky was once a student, remembered her as a "quiet, well-liked and hard-working pupil".
A spokesman for Bristol Brunel Academy said employee turnover meant no current staff members knew Becky. Associate Principal Laurie Monro said: "Everyone's really sad, the children have been asking for the past 10 days what's happened to Becky and now we know, it's the worst news we could have ever had."
In 2010 Becky left the school to attend Bristol Brunel Academy, but a spokesman said no current staff members knew her.
