Taylor Swift wins the Video of the Year Award for "Bad Blood." The MTV VMAs have come and gone for another year, leaving a trail of new music videos, celeb spats and Kanye West memes in their wake.
Kanye West announced his US presidential campaign for 2020. Kanye West stole the spotlight again after pretending to rush the stage while Taylor Swift performed but Taylor get her own back when presenting Kanye with his Video Vanguard Award, using the infamous “Imma let you finish” line.
Justin Beiber cried after his performance. Miley Cyrus got told in Nicki Minaj’s acceptance speech after Miley backed Taylor Swift in the New York Times recently over Minaj and Swift’s spat. “If you want to make it about race, there’s a way you could do that. But don’t make it just about yourself.”
Nicki Minaj called out Miley Cyrus during her VMAs acceptance speech. Oh, and Justin Bieber cried.

Demi Lovato performed her latest single "Cool for the Summer", while Taylor Swift delivered the premiere of her video for "Wildest Dreams."
Swift's video "Bad Blood" was nominated for eight awards. The singer found herself in hot water last month after jumping into a series of tweets by Nicki Minaj about racism in the music industry. Minaj felt the video for her single "Anaconda" deserved more recognition but Swift appeared to take this as a personal slight.
Miley Cyrus, who's hosting this year’s event, also commented on the incident, telling the New York Times that Minaj’s comments were “not very polite.”
The 22-year-old artist is set to front the awards on her own, two years after a memorable and highly controversial performance with Robin Thicke. 
"We've had a long-standing relationship with her from the 2013 VMAs," said Amy Doyle, executive producer of the show, who told Reuters that Cyrus "continues to be an amazing character in pop culture, she's musical and has lots of personality."
