Man held in Farnham pensioner murder probe

A man has been arrested after an elderly man was found dead at an address in Farnham, Surrey Police said.

The body of the man in his 80s was found at the property in Dockenfield on Thursday, a force spokesman said.

A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of murder. A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.

The death is is being treated as an isolated incident, and there are no threats to the community, police said.
