Pizza chain Domino’s says a Melbourne store manager denies allegations he went on a rampage, spray-painting and scratching “do not park” on several cars.

The manager of the Box Hill shop is alleged to have damaged several cars that were parked near the takeaway outlet on Tuesday night.

It has also been alleged the manager blocked in two cars and then refused to move his vehicle despite tearful pleas for over an hour from a car owner.

One of the car owners, Elisha Park, said she returned to her car and found it blocked in with the words “do not park” spray-painted on the windscreen and scratched into the bonnet and sides of the car.

Vehicles belonging to her work colleagues were also targeted, she said.

“I stood in the store crying, but he didn’t budge and kept ‘working’”, Park said on Facebook. Park said she was not parked in reserved Domino’s spaces and the manager denied defacing the cars.

Domino’s head office issued a statement saying the store manager denied damaging the vehicles. It said the allegations were being taken very seriously and staff at the store were cooperating with police.

The shop’s Facebook page filled with people vowing to boycott the chain, with most labelling the manager’s alleged actions a disgrace.

The store declined to comment on the allegations.
