A man has been taken to hospital after an explosion at a property in Cornwall. A house was nearly ripped apart by a "massive" explosion that saw debris hurled across the street and has left a man in intensive care.
The external walls of the house at Treclago View, Camelford, were blown out in the blast at around 23:30 BST. He was dragged from the wreckage after the blast at a house in Treclago View, Camelford, at about 23:30 BST.
The only person inside, a 68-year-old man, was helped from the debris and taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, where he is thought to be in a stable condition in intensive care. The external walls of the property were blown out but no-one else was hurt, despite nearby houses and cars being damaged.
