Oxford Circus underground station has been evacuated due to a fire alert. Oxford Circus underground station has been reopened following a fire alert.
No trains are stopping at the station while the incident is ongoing. The station was evacuated and firefighters were called shortly after 8am as communters made their way to work, but was re-openned less than an hour later.
Firefirghters were called to thye station shortly after 8am. Transport for London said on their Twitter feed that the station was once again "fully open".
