More than 50,000 people have taken to the streets of Tyneside for this year's Great North Run. Mo Farah has won the men's elite race at the Great North Run while Kenyan Mary Keitany took victory in the women's race.
Now in its 35th year, the half-marathon began in Newcastle with the finishing line 13.1 miles away in South Shields. His victory is his second consecutive win in the half-marathon which is now in its 35th year.
