The station in south-west London was evacuated following the incident. British Transport Police (BTP) said he suffered head and leg injuries after falling into the path of an oncoming train at about 23:00 BST.

A BTP spokeswoman said: "Officers attended alongside colleagues from London Ambulance Service and discovered a man had fallen from platform three and landed on the tracks in front of an oncoming train.
"The man was struck by the train, which was slowing down, and suffered head and leg injuries as a result of the incident.
"At this stage it is unclear exactly how the man came to fall on to the tracks and officers are working to determine the full circumstances."
South West Trains said services between Twickenham and London Waterloo were suspended while the man was treated but later resumed.
A spokeswoman said: "Our immediate thoughts are for the welfare of the person involved.
"We have additional staff on duty at the station and British Transport Police and paramedics are on site.
"Services have resumed; however, delays are expected until the end of service.
"We're sorry for the disruption this may cause to passengers."
