Two men have been arrested over the death of a young girl who was knocked down by a car in Lancashire. A girl who died after being hit by a car in Lancashire has been named as Aleena Kauser from Rawtenstall.
The girl, 9, was hit by a white Audi A5 on Bacup Road, Rossendale at about 17:00 BST, Lancashire Police said. The nine-year-old was hit by a white Audi A5 on Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, at about 17:00 BST on Friday, Lancashire Police said.

Sgt David Hurst of Lancashire Police road policing unit said: "This is a tragic incident in which a little girl has very sadly lost her life and my thoughts remain with her family at this extremely difficult time." Sgt David Hurst said: "We are still keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the white Audi A5 and a green Volkswagen Golf travelling in the vicinity prior to the collision."
