Staff from The Turtle Bay gave the woman first aid after a man threw corrosive acid over her face at 9pm on Friday. A spokesman for Hampshire police said: “We were called to an incident where acid was thrown into the face of a 37-year-old woman outside Turtle Bay. She was taken to Southampton general hospital with significant burns to her face, neck and arms.
