Version 0 of 1.

A 22-year-old man has denied inciting racial hatred before a neo-Nazi rally that was scheduled to take place in the Golders Green area of north London.

Joshua Bonehill-Paine, from Yeovil, Somerset, is charged with publishing or distributing written material intended to stir up racial hatred.

It is alleged he posted links on Twitter in June to the material before a rally that organisers planned to hold in Golders Green, famous for its Jewish community. The rally was later moved to central London.

Bonehill-Paine loudly said he was “absolutely not guilty” when he appeared at Southwark crown court in London on Monday morning.

Wearing a blue shirt and black and white checked jacket and sporting a beard, he listened intently to the short hearing as he sat next to a uniformed officer.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the same court for trial. A provisional date of 14 December was arranged.
