According to Labour’s Deputy leader Tom Watson, 40,000 people have joined as full members since Jeremy Corbyn was elected as leader last week, bringing total membership to over 350,000. Watson has also cast scorn on Liberal democrat leader Tim Farron’s suggestion that some Labour MPs are seeking to jump ship.
