Hackney fatal shooting: man charged with murder of Moses Fadairo

A man has been charged with murder after a 25-year-old was shot dead in a busy London street.

Moses Fadairo was gunned down in broad daylight in Hackney, east London.

Officers, specialist firearms officers and the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 1.14pm on Saturday.

Christopher Erunse, 27, from Greenwich, south-east London, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

He was arrested in Birmingham on Tuesday morning and is due to attend Thames magistrates court on Thursday.

Two other men, aged 23 and 25, were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail.
