Stoke sex exploitation inquiry: Teenagers charged with rape and kidnap

An 18-year-old and a 17-year-old have been charged with multiple offences, including rape and kidnap.

The charges are part of an inquiry into sexual exploitation, said police in Staffordshire.

Jason Hendry Price, 18, of Burnaby Road, Stoke-on-Trent, faces 14 charges, also including sexual assault and aiding rape.

A boy aged 17, also from Stoke-on-Trent, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces 13 offences.

They include inciting a person aged 13-15 to engage in sexual activity.

Both will appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Friday.

They were arrested by Staffordshire Police on Thursday morning.

Staffordshire Police and local agencies said they had "taken action to safeguard those affected by these offences".
