Doves Landing Park, a recreation space with three miles of multiuse trails, is open to the public.

The county-owned, 235-acre park at 9305 Doves Lane in Bristow was officially opened during a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony. Volunteers worked to clean up and extend the trails and landscape around the park’s new entrance sign.

The county bought the property in the 1990s from a developer who had planned a large development at the site.
